» Site Stats and InformationWhen ADA first began in August 2007 it started out as too overwhelming of a project! The site navigation was a miss and impossible to understand [even to the helpers at the time!]. There was way to much focus on JPOP rather than on Dramas. We were hosted on a free host website (110mb.com) which offered banner less hosting (a plus!) but did not offer many possibilities for a large website. Uploading and downloading was impossible with free base accounts on SS and MU so accounts for both were purchased to help upload and download speeds as well as get rid of the nasty 'EXPIRED LINK' epidemic! We also purchased a program to convert movie files from one format to the other...it sounded like a good idea at the time - it has never been used! After a semi long period of Hiatus ADA was given another chance and a domain was purchased in September of 2007. After purchasing a domain name we finally found out I had no idea what I was doing.. In order to use a domain name I would also have to buy a hosting plan...hehe! A hosting plan through AN Hosting - which within two days changed over to Midphase..Which by the way is a good place to host! Everything on the site has been created by trial and error since that date. With a hectic schedule [me: school + full time work][Obentou: School] we tried to update as often as we could and added content little by little. I uploaded to MU and Obentou to SS. However, all the hours of uploading to SS came to a very sad halt in early November of 2007 when I forgot to pay the SS acount fee and no warning notice had been sent. We continued working and uploading without knowing of the expiration of the accounr and by early December 2007 many SS links had expired and ADA lost over 18GB of uploaded media (which at the time was a lot to us!). In utter frustration I switched to another uploading host, DivShare. Which was awesome for about 72 hours of my account membership. DivShare allowed unlimited hosting to premium members along with a very large file upload allowance which ment files only needed to be spilt in two for download. Within 3 days we had uploaded 30GB (my poor laptop was in a constant stat of upload). On the eve of 'DAY 3' DivShare annouced that it would be changing its hosting plans and set a 25GB limit of premium members. Our heart sunk! Thus or reason for returning to SendSpace - which has treated us well (I buy 6 month plans now!) However, even through dismay we did end of joing Divine_Ayu forums and created a website partnership. Which has turned out well! In December of 2007 Divine_Ayu forum became the official ADA Forum for the site and offered streaming media for the media we offered only through download. We entered the new year of 2008 with a new version of ADA as a direct download and streaming media site. We've been updating as often as possible since then..
